A year and a half ago, I was in the water polo team for my swimming club, but when it moved further away, I left the team and didn't play again until last friday when I was invited to practice for the SPS team by my tutor.

When I got there, I was the only fourth year there, and there were only two fifth years. This left an awful lot of rather big and rather scary people swimming towards you but despite the majority of the players being twice my height and strength, they were very encouraging and I must have played well enough because at the end I was offered a place in the under 15s team. Not a bad re-introduction to the game!
